Anchored by the creative mind and brilliant talents of professional figure skater and fashion designer, Michael Kuluva, Tumbler & Tipsy is not only reworking, redefining and revamping the world of fashion, but it’s taking it over one sequin at a time. This sexy yet stylish brand has been featured internationally in over 100 publications and media outlets including Bravo Television, The Today Show, MTV, VH1, Metro Magazine, WWD and Perez Hilton, to name quite an elite few, and it’s continuing to influence the fashion industry worldwide. Tumbler & Tipsy’s bold and chic collection can be found in stores such as Kitson Japan, Joyrich L.A., and Patricia Field NYC. It’s also soon to be featured on the runway of L.A. Fashion Weekend at Sunset Gower Studios, located at 6040 Sunset Blvd, this October 22, 2011. Mikey Koffman, creator and producer of L.A. Fashion Weekend at Sunset Gowers Studios, is also the owner of The Gallery Los Angeles. The Gallery has chosen Michael Kuluva to be one of the five Emerging Designers.
On the runway, Tumbler & Tipsy will showcase its unique take on comfort jersey knits and highlight a collection of ultra-luxe, dazzling sequin garments that can be layered for any occasion. In addition, Kuluva masterfully creates a show-stopping, jaw-dropping, 50-piece handmade accessories collection that is distinctive but never repetitive, casual yet chic and classy mixed with a little bit of sassy. Tumbler & Tipsy is not just a line of clothing, it’s a collection of art, it’s an embodiment of chic fashion in the modern world, and it’s a representation of a lifestyle: fun, bold, luxurious and daring. From a young age, Michael Kuluva worked his way up to become one of the youngest, most talented and recognized names in professional figure skating history, touring in over 600 cities and 40 countries. Now, he is conquering the world of fashion with his brand, Tumbler & Tipsy, launched back in 2009. Michael Kuluva studied design from his extensive schooling at FIDM and is a designer and stylist to musicians, red carpet celebrities and Olympic athletes. Developing personal connections with stars such as Lance Bass, Roberto Cavalli, and Cher, Michael Kuluva has established himself as a professional and respectable name in today’s global fashion industry.
